A cottage garden wouldn't be complete without some roses tumbling over archways.
I really must get me some chickens and ducks, imagine the fresh eggs . . .
Typical cottage garden flowers - foxgoves and delphiniums . . .
. . . and of course Lupins, these are so easy to grow from seed . . .
Hollyhocks. . .
A cottage garden usually has either a rustic or painted picket fence . . .
My favourite cottage garden colours are shades of white, pink, lavender and purple. . .
I also love doorways and gates that lead to a secret garden . . .
and of course a little seating area and resting place to sit and enjoy the scents and sounds of nature. . .
Ah, la vie en rose. . .

Sharon,
SO MUCH spring inspiration here! I'm so excited to start my garden, although with all the cold, snow, and rain.. it might be a while. Between my dogs and all the rain - I'm mud whomp-in!! ~what a mess
Have a lovely weekend!

Love all the dreamy cottage garden inspiration! Still brown, grey and cool here. I need to redo some of my beds this year, but still waiting for the weather to be a little nicer!
As Leslie put so well....
Have a great weekend!

That's really the "Vie en roses"! Really nice photos! Can't wait for my garden to start blooming so I can enjoy the true face of spring!
Hi Rose, thank you so much for stopping by! I love to hear from people who drop by! I know I feel the same, can't wait for the blooms!
